California-based Swipe Telecom has announced the launch of a new Android tablet, called Halo Speed. Swipe had earlier launched four tablets under its Halo brand that includes Halo Tab X 74S, Halo Edge, Halo 3G and Halo Value.
The Swipe Halo Speed is a 7-inch calling tablet powered by Android Jelly Bean 4.1 operating system. Powering the Halo Speed is a 1.5 GHz Processor and 1 GB DDRII RAM. It has 4 GB in-built memory which is expandable up to 32 GB through a micro SD card.
The display of Swipe Halo Speed, which weighs 345 grams, has 5 point HD capacitive multi-touch screen with 800×480 pixels resolution. It has a 2 megapixel rear camera and a VGA (0.3 megapixel) front camera. The tablet has Bluetooth 2.0, WiFi, G-Sensor, Accelerometer and flash support 11.1 as well. It also comes with a decent 3000 mAh battery.
The tablet is priced at Rs 6,990 and is available from various online stores.
