Sony’s new Xperia smartphones including Sony Xperia XZ1, Xperia XZ1 Compact and Xperia X1 specs leaked online sometime before. Recently Sony XZ1 bearing model number G8341 was spotted on GeekBench benchmarking website revealing some of its specs. Now Sony XZ1 Compact with model number G8441 has been on the same benchmarking website. The listing has revealed some of the key specifications of the upcoming smartphone from Sony.
In the GeekBench listing, the Sony G8441 got 1834 points in single-core test and in multi-core test it received 6232 points. As per the listing on Geekbench, the Sony G8441 has 4GB RAM and Snapdragon 835 1.90 GHz octa-core processor. The handset is based on the Android 8.0 operating system.
The Sony XZ1 Compact with the same model number G8441 was also spotted in a AnTuTu listing some time back. The Antutu listing revealed that the Sony G8441 will come with 32GB internal storage, HD 720 x 1280 pixel display resolution (without screen size), and an 8 Megapixel rear and front camera.
In the earlier GeekBench listing of the Sony XZ1, it got 1909 points in single-core test and in multi-core test it received 6459 points. As per the listing on Geekbench, the Sony G8341 has 4GB RAM and Snapdragon 835 1.90 GHz octa-core processor. The handset is based on the Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system.
As per earlier leaks, the Xperia XZ1 will boast a 5.2-inch Full HD display with a screen resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The phone will be powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 Processor along with 4GB of RAM and it will be juiced up by a 3000mAh battery.
The Xperia XZ1 Compact with model number G8441 will be a smaller edition of Xperia XZ1 device and will come loaded with the same processor and RAM. However, it will feature a 4.6-inch HD screen with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and will be backed up by a smaller 2,800mAh battery.
