Sony has announced a price cut on its three smartphones for the Indian market. The company has slashed the price of Xperia XZs, Xperia L2 and Xperia R1 in the country.
The new prices will be effective from July 06, 2018 and the models will be available in all Sony centres, Amazon, Flipkart and major electronics stores across India. Starting with the Xperia XZs, the smartphone, which was launched for Rs 39,990, is now available for Rs 29,990. This reflects a price cut of Rs 10,000.
Sony Xperia L2
Further, the Xperia L2 is now available at a price tag of Rs 14,990, against its original price of Rs 19,990. This means customers will get a discount of Rs 5,000. Finally, the Xperia R1 now comes with a price tag of Rs 9,990. The phone was launched for Rs 10,990, reflecting a price cut of Rs 1,000.
Talking about key specifications, the Xperia XZs sports a 5.2-inch full HD display with a screen resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. The device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor along with Adreno 530 GPU. The phone is backed by a 4GB of RAM and comes in two 32GB and 64GB storage options.
Sony Xperia R1
The Xperia L2 comes with a 5.5-inch HD display with a screen resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. The phone is powered by 1.5 GHz MediaTek MT6737 quad-core processor with Mali T720-MP2 GPU. The phone is backed by a 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 256GB via micro SD card slot.
The Xperia R1 features a 5.2-inch HD display with a screen resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. Under the hood, the phone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor. features a 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. The storage can be further expanded up to 128GB via micro SD card slot.
