Sony Xperia C3 launched as the ultimate selfie smartphone

Sony Xperia C3 has 5.5-inch HD display, 5 megapixel camera in the front and quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon mobile chipset.

Keeping in view of the rising obsession for selfies, Sony has announced a smartphone called Xperia C3 with a 5 megapixel front camera along with an LED flash to let users take great self portraits. Sony will offer Xperia C3 with Dual SIM support and 4.4 KitKat. It will be released in Black, White and Mint colour in this August.

The Xperia C3 is powered quad-core 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 mobile and 1 GB RAM. It has 8 GB on-board storage apart from a memory card slot for additional memory. The smartphone has a 5.5-inch IPS LCD display with 720p (HD) resolution and offers great viewing angle.

As we stated above, Sony Xperia C3 has a 5 megapixel front camera which is capable of recording HD quality videos. This front facing camera can be used along with the new camera software to capture and enhance the self portraits. Sony has added several features in the camera as well including Superior Auto mode that offers four different scenes for front camera and up to 36 scenes for the rear camera. Portrait Retouch Version 2 brings quite a new set of tools to improve the photos. Apart from that, there is the usual Timeshift-Burst, Picture Effects, Movie Creator, Sweep Panorama, Vine and Social live.

At the back, the Xperia C3 has 8 megapixel camera with LED flash and autofocus. This rear camera offers several features such as red-eye reduction, HDR and more powered by the Sony Exmor RS camera.

The single SIM version of the Xperia C3 also offers fast LTE network support while Dual SIM version supports network enabled SIM card. Weighing 150 grams, the Xperia C3 offers Wi-Fi, 4.0, DLNA support and with A-GPS. Sony has added a 2500 battery and boasts of about 24 hours of talk time.
