Sony Xperia 4 with Snapdragon 710 SoC, 21:9 aspect ratio screen in works?

Xperia 4 will feature a 5.7-inch Full HD+ display with a screen resolution of 2520 x 1080 pixels. The phone will be equipped with a 21:9 aspect ratio, similar to what we have seen in above-mentioned smartphones.

Sony introduced new flagship smartphones with a new aspect ratio of 21:9. The company introduced Xperia 1, Xperia 10 and Xperia 10 Plus at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2019 and now it seems that the company is preparing yet another smartphone with the aspect ratio.

The company is reportedly working on a new smartphone, which is named as Xperia 4. As per a report by Sumahoinfo, key specifications of the device has been leaked. To begin with, the Xperia 4 will feature a 5.7-inch Full display with a screen of 2520 x 1080 pixels. The phone will be equipped with a 21:9 aspect ratio, similar to what we have seen in above-mentioned smartphones. The phone is reported to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 chipset.

Xperia 4 will feature a 4GB of and 64GB of internal storage, which could be expandable in nature. The phone packs a 2,800mAh battery and it will be equipped with Sony adaptive charging. Although the camera details are not known at the moment, but it is expected to feature a dual-camera setup. The report further highlights that the upcoming smartphone will be available in Silver, Black, Purple and Red colour options. The phone measures 149.5 x 65 x 9.4mm and there will be no 3.5mm on this device.

To recall, the company introduced Xperia 1, Xperia L3, Xperia 10 and Xperia 10 Plus at MWC 2019. The Xperia 1 will be available at a starting price of EUR 799 and it will go on sale in th US from late Spring. Xperia 10 is priced at $349.99, while the Xperia 10 Plus is priced at $429.99 and both of them will go on sale in the US on March 18. The Xperia L3 price and availability is yet to be announced.
