Sharp has introduced the launch of a new air purifier cum humidifier in India. Dubbed as Sharp KC-G40M, the air purifier comes at an introductory price of Rs 33,000 and it is available for purchase from offline retail stores in India.
Sharp KC-G40M air purifier r comes loaded with passive HEPA and PANDAA filters that the company claims eliminate PM2.5, Pollen, other gaseous substances such as Toluene, Ethyl Benzene and other HAZE compounds. The air purifier comes loaded with Active Plasmacluster technology that generates fresh air while eliminating toxic fumes, VOC, gases and a variety of pathogens.
One of the major selling points of this device is the in-built humidifying function that basically maintains a comfortable humidity level through natural evaporation technique. It is also helpful in maintaining body hydration. The device can cover up to 350 square feet and it is accredited with accredited with Seal of Approval by British Allergy Foundation. This simply means that it helps in preventing Asthma, Allergy and other respiratory symptoms.
It comes loaded with washable fine-meshed PM10 filter. It manages the room humidity ~60% RH and also allows the Air Conditioner to be run at ~25 to 27 degree C, thus saving electricity and reducing power bill. KC-G40M comes with a 1-year onsite warranty and it also claims the availability of spares and consumables for a period of 5 years after the model is discontinued in India.
