As per reports, the SM-G888N0 is actually a Galaxy X prototype, the foldable smartphone that Samsung has been working on for some time now. Another device with a similar codename surfaced last year which was believed to be the Galaxy S7 Sport, carrying model number SM-G880. As per another report, the mysterious device could also be Galaxy S8 Sport, which could be launched at Sprint. So, the Samsung SM-G888N0 might be Sport edition of this year’s flagship phone Galaxy S8. The Galaxy Sport series are usually exclusive to Sprint and are different from the rugged “Active Series”.

At present, no other details about the phone are currently known. We’ll keep you updated as we get more information on this.
