Samsung has today announced the launch of its premium audio brand – AKG, in India. Under AKG, which is now a Samsung brand, the company has launched four new wireless headphones and earphones – Y100, Y500, N200 and N700NC M2.
The AKG Y100 priced at Rs 6,699, Rs N200 and Rs Y500 priced at Rs 9,999 each and AKG N700NC M2 will cost you Rs 26,999.
All four models will be available through Samsung E-store, exclusive outlets and all top retailers. They will also be available at leading online portals shortly.
AKG N200 is an earphone which comes with tangle-free fabric cable and it delivers crisp, clear sound experience with Apt-x technology and AAC codec support to ensure outstanding audio quality. The company has claimed that the battery packs in a playback time of up to 8 hours. There’s also a Fast charging feature that gives one full hour of listening time with just 10 minutes of charging.
AKG N700NC M2 headphones come with Adaptive Noise Cancelling technology with sleek and elegant design. The Headphone delivers warm bass response and AKG headphones App allows the user to easily control the equalizer and noise cancelation Frequency settings via smartphone.
AKG N700NC M2 also comes with long-lasting battery that provides 23 hours playback with Bluetooth and noise cancellation. It comes with accessories like an airline adapter, carrying case and a tangle-free fabric cable with one-button remote.
AKG Y500 is an on-ear wireless headphone with 33 hours playtime, multi-point connectivity to ensure seamless connection with two Bluetooth connected devices at the same time. It comes with play/pause automation to enable the user to pause the music automatically when taking the headphones off, and play when the headphones are put back on.
AKG Y100 is a neck-band type earphone that brings lightness and durability along with crisp, clean sound. The form factor makes it an optimal audio device for all use cases – whether travelling, relaxing at home or working.
Both AKG Y500 and Y100 come with Ambient Aware technology that allows users to let in surrounding ambient sound by activating the Ambient Aware Mode, so that they don’t miss any important announce at the airport or that interesting conversation at home.
