Samsung has announced a new tablet under Galaxy series, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2017), in Vietnam. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2017) is priced at VND 6,490,000, which roughly translates to $285 or approximately Rs 18,200 and it will be available for sale from retail stores across the country.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2017) features a metal unibody design and has an 8-inch HD (1280 x 800 pixels) IPS display. It comes with Android 7.1 Nougat operating system and is powered by a 1.4 GHz Snapdragon 425 quad core processor. There is 2 GB of RAM in the tablet with 16 GB of internal storage. The tablet also has an expandable storage slot that can carry a micro SD card of up to 256 GB.

For connectivity, it offers 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.2, WiFi, GPS, USB Type C, GPS, GLONASS and 3.5mm headphone jack. Sensor includes acceleration and hall sensors. The tablet, which measures 212.1 x 124.1 x 8.9mm and weighs 364 grams, has a 5,000 mAh battery which claims to offer up to 36 hours of talk time and 15hours of usage on over LTE or Wifi.
Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2017) comes in Black and Gold colours. Currently, there is no information about the launch of the tablet in global markets.
