Samsung today launched three Android tablets under its Galaxy Tab 3 range – namely Galaxy Tab 3 211 (7 inch screen), Galaxy Tab 3 311 (8 inch, 3G) and Galaxy Tab 3 310 (8 inch, WiFi), priced at Rs 17,745, Rs 21,945, and Rs 25,725 respectively.
Vodafone is also offering 2 GB of 3G data for free with the tablets for two month.
Announcing the launch, Vineet Taneja, country head, Samsung Mobile and imaging business, said, “The Tab 3 series carries forward the Samsung legacy of innovation by offering consumers the benefit of the smartest screen, an unmatched performance, smart usability coupled with a host of applications that allow consumers’ to personalise and thereby enrich their experience with the device.”
Galaxy Tab 3 211
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 211 comes with a 7 inch display with 1024×600 pixels resolution. The 9.9 mm thick tablet has 300 gram weight. It has Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system, 1.2 GHz dual core processor, 1 GB RAM, 4000 mAh battery, 3 Megapixel rear camera, and a 1.3 megapixel front camera.
The tablet comes in 8 GB Internal Memory but there is a micro SD card slot to expand its memory by 32 GB. The Galaxy Tab 3 has SIM calling facility as well as WiFi connectivity. So for data, you have to use WiFi.

Galaxy Tab 311
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 311 comes with 3G (voice and data) connectivity apart from WiFi option. It has an 8 inch screen with WXGA Resolution (1280×800 pixels). Besides, the 7.4 mm thick tablet has Android Jelly Bean 4.2, 1.5 GHz dual core processor, 1.5 GB RAM, 5 megapixel rear camera, 1.9 megapixel front camera, and a 4450 mAh battery.
Besides, it has 16 GB internal memory which can be expanded up to 64 GB with a micro SD card. The tablet will have all the innovative features of Samsung like Multi Window, Smart Stay, Reading Mode and Pop up video.
Galaxy Tab 310
This version has all the features of the Galaxy Tab 311 except the 3G connectivity. However, it has WiFi connectivity for accessing internet.
