Samsung introduced its flagship device, the Galaxy S8+ in India last year for Rs 64,900. Few months after, the phone received a price cut and it retailed for Rs 58,990 and then again, it received another price cut, which brought its price to Rs 53,990.
Now, the phone price has been further slashed to Rs 39,990. This reflects a price cut of a whopping Rs 12,000. The new price is available at retail stores and is expected to be reflected on the online channels sooner or later. With this, the smartphone comes in direct competition with the recently launched LG G7+ ThinQ, OnePlus 6 and Asus Zenfone 5Z. Although the phone comes with a premium design, rest of the competition is offering a much powerful and latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset coupled with top-of-the-line specifications.

The phone runs on Android 7.0 Nougat and it is juiced up by a 3500mAh battery with fast charging support. Connectivity option includes Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, USB Type-C, GPS, GLONASS and 4G LTE. The Samsung Galaxy S8+ measures 159.5 x 73.4 x 8.1 mm and 173 grams.
