Samsung Galaxy S8 Burgundy Red colour variant announced

Samsung has released an official ad for the new colour variant on its Samsung Mobile Korea YouTube channel.

Samsung has added a new colour variant of its Galaxy S8 portfolio with the addition of Burgundy Red colour. The new Burgundy Red Galaxy S8 has been launched in South Korea. unfortunately, the company has announced that the new colour option will be exclusive to the South Korean market, so it won’t be available globally. This is the 6th colour option of Galaxy S8 after Rose Pink, Arctic Silver, Coral Blue, Orchid Gray and Midnight Black.

However, there’s nothing new in the device apart from colour change. Apparently, to celebrate the colours of autumn, the rear glass back has a beautiful and rich red colour. Everything remains the same, that includes the specifications as well. You can see the video below

To recollect some key specifications, Samsung Galaxy S8 comes with a 5.8-inch Quad (2960 x 1440 pixels) Infinity display which is curved on both sides. The handset boasts a display aspect ratio of 18:9. The Galaxy S8 arrives with Exynos 8895 which is an Octa-Core processor clocked at 2.3 GHz in Korea. Apart from this, the device packs 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 256GB via card.

On the camera front, the Galaxy S8 is equipped with a 12-megapixel rear camera with Dual Pixel technology and f/1.7 and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with smart and aperture f/1.7.MP F1.7 Smart autofocus front camera.

The smartphone runs on the 7.0 Nougat and is powered by a 3000mAh battery. On the connectivity front, both the device supports Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, USB Type-C, GPS, GLONASS and LTE. The Samsung Galaxy S8 measures 148.9 x 68.1 x 8.0 mm and weighs 155 grams.
