Samsung Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 Edge Android Nougat update delayed further

Last month, Samsung rolled out Nougat update for Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge.

Last month, Samsung had rolled out 7.0 Nougat update for Galaxy S7 and S7 and by the end of February Samsung Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 Edgewere also supposed to get it, but now it has got delayed.

As per Samsung UK, the Android Nougat update will be delayed further, as Samsung is still in the process of reviewing the update, so there will be no hiccups later on. However, the company didn’t reveal the exact date of rolling out the Nougat update.

The latest update will bring a host of new features including new UX and various performance modes, improved usability of Notification feature and Quick settings button, efficient space for installation of download apps, improved speed of system upgrade and installation. Other features include split-screen multitasking, better battery life, enhanced notifications and recent applications window. Further, the latest Android OS version will also bring in ‘Double Tap’ on the Recent button to switch between the two most recent apps which come in very handy at times. For extended battery life, Android Nougat will come with ‘Doze on the go’ which will get activated even if your Nougat running device is in your pocket. With the Nougat update, Samsung will also push for its long-awaited payment system known as Samsung Pay.

Although this information is shared by the Samsung UK, the India roll out might also be impacted.
