Samsung launched Galaxy M40 in India earlier this month (June 11) at a price tag of Rs 19,990. Now the smartphone is available on an open sale and can be purchased at any time on Amazon India and Samsung’s online shop.
Samsung Galaxy M40 went on sale for the first time on June 18 and the second cycle of the sale was held on June 20. Now the company has decided to make this smartphone available for purchase 24×7. It means interested customers will not have to wait for flash sales now to buy the latest Galaxy M40.
Recently, Samsung rolled out the first software update for Galaxy M40 smartphone. The update includes May Android security patch along with bug fixes and improvements to the phone.
Samsung Galaxy M40 features a 6.3-inch full HD+ Infinity-O display with 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution, 400 nits brightness, 1200:1 contrast ratio, 91% screen to body ratio and a Pixel density of 409ppi. The phone comes armed with Snapdragon 675 Processor coupled with Adreno 612 GPU, runs on Android 9 Pie operating system with One UI on top, is backed up by a 3,500mAh battery with 15W fast charging.
The phone has 6GB of RAM, 128 GB internal storage that can be expandable up to 512GB via a microSD card. The smartphone is also Samsung’s first model to have a “Screen Sound” technology that will produce audio without an earpiece. For the optics, it features a triple camera setup with 32-megapixel primary sensor with f/2.0 aperture, 5-megapixel secondary sensor with f/2.2 Aperture and an 8-megapixel Wide-Angle lens with 123-degree viewing angle and f/2.2 aperture. Further, it has a 16-megapixel selfie camera at the front housed inside the notch. The phone also features a rear-facing fingerprint sensor and comes with all standard connectivity options.
