Samsung Galaxy J3 Prime with Android Nougat launched

The smartphone is available for purchase through T-Mobile and its prepaid subsidiary MetroPCS.

Samsung has launched its new smartphone, which is named as Samsung Galaxy J3 Prime. The smartphone is available for purchase through T-Mobile and its prepaid subsidiary MetroPCS. The T-Mobile is selling the said smartphone at $6 down and $6 per month for 24 months and $150 for one time payment, while MetroPCS is selling it at just $69 after the limited period discount of $70.

Samsung Galaxy J3 Prime comes with a 5 inch display with 720 x 1280 pixel resolution. It is powered by a 1.35 GHz quad-core Samsung’s Exynos 7570 processor coupled with 1.5 GB RAM. The Galaxy J3 Prime has a 5-megapixel rear camera with f/1.9 and 1080p video recording and a 2-megapixel front camera with f/2.2 aperture for photography.

The Galaxy J3 Prime runs on 7.0 Nougat operating system and comes with 16 GB of internal storage with expandable memory upto 128GB via microSD card. The smartphone is backed up by a removable 2600mAh battery, which claims to offer upto 20 hours of talk time and upto 20 days of standby time. For connectivity, the device comes with LTE, WiFi (802.11 a/ac/b/g/n,), Bluetooth, and Micro-USB port. The smartphone has Gyro, Accelerometer, Magnetic and Proximity sensors. The handset measures 5.5 x 2.75 x 0.35 inches and weighs 5.22 ounces.
