Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime (2016) with Android Marshmallow spotted again on GeekBench

Galaxy Grand Prime (2016) has also cleared Federal Communications Commission (FCC).

The Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime (2016) which was earlier spotted on Geekbench benchmarking website has now again been spotted om Geekbench. The device has also cleared Federal Communications Commission (FCC) that regulates interstate and international communications by radio, television, wire, satellite and cable in the US.

In the GeekBench listing, the Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime (2016) got 640 points in single-core test and in muli-core test it received 1884 points. As per the listing on Geekbench, the Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime (2016) has 2GB RAM and Mediatek MT6737T 1.4 GHz quad core processor. The handset is based on the 6.0 Marshmallow operating system. The model number of the handset in the GeekBench listing is SM-G532F.

The FCC listing shows that the Galaxy Grand Prime will come in dual sim variant also. It shows the model name SM-G532F and another model SM-G532F/DS. The SM-G532F/DS might be the variant of the phone.

The device was also spotted on the Indian import-export website Zauba earlier, which means that the phone may get launched in India as well, though Samsung has not said anything about it yet.

Earlier, Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime (2016) was also spotted on GFX which reveals that the device will have a 5.1-inch display that has qHD (960×540 pixels) resolution, MediaTek 1.4 GHz quad-core processor, 2GB RAM, 8GB of internal storage out of which 3.4GB is reserved for the users, ARM Mali -T720 and Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system. Further, the Samsung phone has an 8-megapixel camera and an flash in its rear panel. There is a 5-megapixel camera in its front for selfies. The GFX listing shows that the device has connectivity features like Bluetooth, GPS, and WiFi. As per the listing, the device also has accelerometer, light sensor and as well.

Just to recall, the Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime was launched in September 2014 for Rs 15,499 in India. Galaxy Grand Prime comes with a 5 inch display with qHD (540×960 pixels) resolution. It runs on a 1.2 GHz quad core processor with the help of 1 GB RAM, Android 4.4 KitKat operating system. The phone has 8 GB internal storage and a micro card slot for a 64 GB card. For connectivity, the Galaxy Grand Prime has WiFi, 4.0 and microUSB 2.0. It has a 2,600mAh battery, two SIM slots offering and 2G connectivity too and 8-megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel camera at the front.
