Samsung has formally announced the launch of its Galaxy Grand 2 smartphone in India. According to Samsung, the Galaxy Grand 2 will be avaialble within a price range of Rs 22,900 – Rs 24,900 but refrained from qouting the exact price of the handset which it said to reveal in the first week of January when it will be made avaialble in the market.
The Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 comes with a 5.25 inch touchscreen with 1280×720 pixels (high definition) resolution. It has 1.5 GB RAM and comes with a 1.2 GHz quad core processor. The smartphone has 8 GB of internal memory and has a 64 GB micro SD card slot.
Besides, Samsun Galaxy Grand 2 has 8 megapixel auto focus rear camera, an LED flash, and a 1.9 megapixel front camera. Both the front and rear cameras are said to be capable of capturing high definition images. The 8.9 mm thick handset weighs 163 grams despite having a 2600 mAh battery. For connectivity, it has WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, GLONASS, and Micro USB 2.0.
