Samsung launched Galaxy C5 Pro last year in China initially with Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system. Later the phone received Android 7.0 Nougat update. Now seems like the company will soon roll out the Android Oreo update for Galaxy C5 Pro. The company has started a beta test for the update in China.
As of now, there is no information when the company will start rolling out the final stable Oreo update for the Samsung Galaxy C5 Pro. Those who have registered for the Galaxy Beta program, they will be able to download and install the beta update. They have to Settings> Software Update> Download Update.
To recall the specs, the Samsung Galaxy C5 Pro offers a 5.2-inch display with full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) Super AMOLED display. It is powered by a 2.2GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 626 processor and Adreno 506 GPU. The phone has 4GB RAM, 64GB of internal storage, 256GB expandable memory slot, Android Nougat operating system and a 2,600 mAh battery. The device also features a fingerprint sensor which is embedded in the physical home button in the front.
The Samsung Galaxy C5 Pro flaunts a 16-megapixel shooter on the back and a 16-megapixel camera at the front with f/1.9 aperture. On the connectivity front, the device offers hybrid Dual SIM, 4G LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, NFC and a USB Type-C port. The handset measures 156.5 x 77.2 x 7.0 mm and weighs 172 grams.
