The Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro which was launched last year in India for Rs 32,490 has now been spotted on GFXBench website and GeekBench benchmarking website with the Nougat operating system. This simply implies that Samsung is perhaps testing the latest software and may release the same for the device soon. The Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro was originally launched with Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system and now retails at Rs 28,999 on Flipkart.

The specs in the GFX and GeekBench listing are inline with the specs of Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro except both of them now show that the device has Android 7.0 Nougat operating system.

For the specs, Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro has a Glass and Metal design and features a 6-inch full (1920 x 1080 pixels) Super with Gorilla Glass 4 protection. The smartphone is equipped with a 1.8 GHz octa-core Snapdragon 652 processor and 4 RAM. The Galaxy A9 Pro offers 32GB of internal storage and an expandable memory up to 256GB via micro card. The phone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system.

It is backed by a 5,000 battery, which claims to offer a of up to 22.5 days, talk-time of up to 32.5 hours, and video playback time of up to 26 hours. The battery comes with a fast-charging feature, which claims to charge the battery from 0 to 100% in 160 minutes, and in mere 30 minutes, it claims to charge the battery to up to 32%.

The Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro has a 16-megapixel camera with f1.9 aperture, OIS and LED flash in its rear panel, while an 8-megapixel camera with f1.9 is in its front. The smartphone also offers a fingerprint scanner. The device measures 161.7 x 80.9 x 7.9 mm and weighs 210 g. Besides, the smartphone offers Dual SIM, 4G-LTE, Bluetooth, WiFi, NFC, GPS/A-GPS, a port, Samsung KNOX, S-Voice, Screen Mirroring, Accelerometer, Fingerprint Sensor, Geomagnetic Sensor, Hall Sensor, Light Sensor, and Proximity Sensor.
