Korean electronic manufacturer Samsung has decided to take legal counter action on the patent infringement claim filed by Apple over the issue of design similarities.
Apple had filed a legal complaint in a US district court against the Korean company stating that some of the Samsung devices like the Galaxy tab and the Galaxy smartphones have infringed its trademark design.
“It’s no coincidence that Samsung’s latest products look a lot like the iPhone and iPad from the shape of the hardware to the user interface and even the packaging,” Steve Park, Apple’s spokesperson at Korea, told a news agency Xinhua.
The Mobile Indian, is still awaiting comments from Samsung spokesperson in India.. However, the Samsung spokesperson in Taiwan made it clear that his company will actively respond to the claim filed by Apple.
What will happen next we will come to know in the times to come but if Apple wins the case then it will be a bad news for Android manufacturers worldwide as the whole Android user interface bears lot of similarities with the Apple’s operating system.
