Starting today, BSNL has introduced three new prepaid offers to cater voice calling needs of its customers this Republic Day. The first recharge which comes in at Rs 26 offers free local calls for a time period of 26 hours. This offer is valid only between 25th – 31st January. In other words, one can only avail this offer between the above-mentioned dates.
Whereas, the other two plans primarily lie on the high-end category of tariffs and are valid until March 31st, 2017. The first of the two which is the ‘Combo 2601’ (Rs 2,601) offers Rs 2,600 talk time in the primary account and Rs 1,300 talk time in the secondary account. However, the talk time for the secondary account is only valid for three months and is to be used up first. While the validity of the primary account balance is unlimited.
On the other hand, the other high-end tariff of Rs 6,801 (Combo 6801) will offer Rs 6,800 talk time in the primary account and gives the same amount of talk time in the secondary account. The validity criteria on under this tariff are same as Combo 2601.
Meanwhile, the state-owned telecom operator (BSNL) yesterday introduced new prepaid plans for its customers offering free local and STD calls as well as mobile data. The new plan tariff is on a pan-India basis and is also valid for customers who want to port their numbers from other mobile networks to BSNL.
The new scheme brings in two new prepaid tariffs. The Rs 149 plan offers 30 minutes free voice calling (Local + STD) on daily basis for one month. As a fair usage policy, the calls to other network are limited to 30 minutes per day. Apart from this, if you want to extend the validity of the above plan, you can go for Rs 439 recharge which will offer 30 minutes of free local and STD voice callings. On top of this, customers will get 300MB of data.
