Reliance Jio has today announced that it is offering a discount on its JioFi hotspot device, as a part of a festive season. The JioFi will now be available at a price of Rs 999 against its original price of Rs 1,999.
This is a limited period offer and it is valid from September 20, 2017, to September 30, 2017. Further, the offer is only valid on JioFi M2S model and this offer cannot be clubbed with any other offer. To recall, the device was launched in September 2016 and it offers a download speed up to 150Mbps and an upload speed of 50Mbps. The hotspot dongle comes with a battery capacity of 2300mAh and can be connected up to 10 devices.
One can also make a video and HD voice calls using the JioFi hotspot. All you need to do is download Jio4GVoice on your smartphone to make an HD voice call. Previously, the brand introduced some interesting packs on the purchase of JioFi device. To start with, the brand gave 2GB of data along with unlimited voice calls and 100 messages for Rs 149, which is applicable for 12 months. This means that one needs to pay Rs 99 and Rs 149 for the first recharge and the users can avail the 24GB of data for 12 recharge cycles.

Similarly, for Rs 309, users will 1GB of data every day along with free voice calling and 100 messages for 6 months. This roughly translates to 148GB of data for 6 months with a one-time payment of Rs 309 and Rs 99 for Jio Prime membership. Coming to the Rs 509 recharge pack, users will get 2GB of data every day along with unlimited calling and 100 messages for 4 recharge cycles, which makes a grand total of 224GB of data.
Lastly, the company is offering Rs 999 recharge pack, which provides 60GB of data for 60 days and it is valid up to 2 recharge cycles, which makes a total of 120GB of free data. However, it is important to note that the above-mentioned packs are only for prepaid users and the billing cycle of these packs if 28 days.
