Realme X to launch in India in second half of 2019

Realme X in India will have different specifications in contrast to the Realme X launched in China.

Realme launched Realme X and Realme X Youth Edition smartphones in China recently. Realme X has already been confirmed to launch in India before. Now it has been also confirmed that the smartphone will launch in India in the second half of 2019.

Realme India CEO Madhav Sheth on Twitter has replied to a user that company will be able to release in the second half of the year. Realme fans in India were hoping that the Realme X might be launched in India in June and now they will have to wait further for its arrival.

Recently, Madhav Sheth revealed that Realme X will be available for a price of around Rs 18,000 in India. He further revealed that Realme X in India will have different specifications in contrast to the Realme X launched in China. The phone will come in an additional Special coloured variant in addition to the original Garlic and Onion colours.

The Realme X features 6.53-inch notch-less that supports full of 1080 x 2340 pixels, an aspect ratio of 19.5:9 and Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It is powered by 2.2 GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 chipset. The smartphone comes equipped with an in-display next-generation light-sensitive screen fingerprint sensor.

In China, the smartphone comes in three different configurations – 4GB + 64GB storage, 6GB RAM + 64GB storage, and 8GB RAM + 128GB storage. The Realme X lacks a card slot.

Realme X runs on 9 Pie operating system based on ColorOS 6.0 UI and it is backed up by a 3765mAh battery which supports VOOC 3.0 Flash Charge technology. On the camera front, the phone sports a AI dual rear camera setup with a 48-megapixel main sensor with f/1.7 and a depth sensor of 5-megapixel with f/2.4 aperture. For the front, the phone has a pop-up selfie camera of 16-megapixel with f/2.0 aperture.

The smartphone also comes with built-in OPPO’s new AI assistant Breeno and comes with stereo speakers with support for Dolby Atmos for surround sound. Connectivity options include LTE support, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, 5, and USB port.
