Realme X confirmed to launch in India soon

The Realme X smartphone comes equipped with an in-display next-generation light-sensitive screen fingerprint sensor.

Realme launched Realme X and Realme X Youth Edition smartphones in China yesterday. Now Realme X has been confirmed to launch in India soon.

Realme India CEO Madhav Sheth on his Twitter handle has announced that Realme X is coming to India. The tweet, however, does not mention any launch date of the phone but we expect it to launch in India soon.

Realme X is the company’s first smartphone with a pop-up selfie camera. The phone comes in two colours options – Punk Blue and Stream White.

As far as its pricing in India is concerned, Realme X will likely be priced between Rs 15,000 and Rs 20,000. In China, the Realme X is priced at Yuan 1499 (approx Rs. 15,400) for 4GB RAM of RAM with 64GB of internal storage, 6GB of RAM with 64GB of internal storage is priced at Yuan 1599 (approx Rs 16,400), while 8GB RAM of RAM with 128GB of internal storage is priced at Yuan 1799 (approx. Rs 18,500).

The Realme X features a 6.5-inch Full Samsung’s AMOLED full screen display with 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution, 19.5:9 aspect ratio and Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It is powered by 2.2 GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 chipset, paired with up to 8GB of RAM. Realme X runs on 9 Pie operating system based on ColorOS 6.0 and it is backed up by a 3765mAh battery with VOOC 3.0 support.

On the camera front, the phone sports a dual rear camera setup with 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 as primary sensor and 5-megapixel as secondary along with an LED flash. The phone has a pop-up selfie camera of 16-megapixel with f/2.0 aperture.

The smartphone comes equipped with an in-display next-generation light-sensitive screen fingerprint sensor. The phone also comes with built-in OPPO’s new AI assistant Breeno and comes with stereo speakers with support for Dolby Atmos for surround sound. Connectivity options include LTE support, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, 5, and USB port.
