Realme to add dark mode, sound recorder with internal audio input and more with future ColorOS update

Realme has revealed that it will add new features to its range of smartphone with a new ColorOS update. The company is set to add system-wide dark mode and it has also revealed that it will sell VOOC chargers and cable separately as well.

CEO Madhav Sheth has confirmed these developments in the latest #AskMadhav YouTube video. Starting with the system-wide dark mode, the company is working to add a system-wide dark mode, which will be available to all Realme devices, though he didn’t share an exact timeline. Furthermore, the company is also adding internal audio input in screen recording option. The new feature will be available alongside the support for mic audio. He revealed that the company will roll out an in the future that will bring this new update.

Moving on, Sheth revealed that all the Realme smartphones will get update camera UI, which was first seen in Realme 3 Pro. He further stated that new camera will be also available in Realme 1 and Realme U1 smartphones as well. Additionally, all Realme smartphones will get timestamps in the camera watermark section. He revealed that the features will be rolled in Q3 of 2019.

Sheth also confirmed that Realme will start selling VOOC fast chargers and cables separately. The chargers were earlier available within the box of certain devices like the Realme 3 Pro. Sheth says that Realme will bring the classic Diamond Red colour option with the upcoming Realme smartphone.

Meanwhile, Realme has shared a poster on its official Twitter handle announcing that Realme X will be launched in India soon. The company CEO, Madhav Sheth also made a similar announcement on Twitter and confirmed the Garlic and Onion special editions.

Recently Sheth also renamed his Twitter name as Madhav X, hinting at the imminent launch of Realme X in India. To recall, Realme launched Realme X and Realme X Youth Edition smartphones in China.
