All three have been updated to the latest security patch from Google, while some of them feature a Expert Mode and Fingerprint shooting inside the camera interface.
After confirming Android Pie update with nightscape mode to come to three of its phones in the first half of 2019, Realme has now started rolling out updates to the Realme C1, Realme 2 and Realme 2 Pro. While only two of the three devices set additional features through the update, all three have been updated to the latest security patch from Google.
The news of the update comes from three different official posts on the Realme forum announcing ColorOS update to the Realme C1, Realme 2 and Realme 2 Pro.
The update to the Realme C1 will shift the build number of the smartphone to RMX1805EX_11.A.25_0250_201903192122 and will patch the latest Android Security Patch Level dated March 5, 2019. Besides that, the device will get an Expert Mode inside the Camera interface.
As for the Realme 2, the latest ColorOS update ports the build number of the device to RMX1805EX_11.A.25_0250_201903192122 with March 5, 2019, dated Android security patches. The update also brings an Expert Mode inside the camera as well as a Fingerprint Shooting functionality. The latter allows users to click pictures by simply tapping on the fingerprint scanner at the back of the phone.
Realme 2 Pro is also getting a ColorOS update, shifting the build number to RMX1801EX_11.A.17_0170_201903151409. However, the update doesn’t pack any features to the phone as it is a mere security update that patches the software to Android Security Patch Level: March 5, 2019.
In related news, Realme announced that it will open its first exclusive service centre in India. The centre will be opened in Lajpat Nagar, New Delhi. Earlier this month, it also announced the Realme 3 smartphone with Helio P70 SoC and Android Pie for a starting price of Rs 8,999.
