Realme has started rolling out Android 10 based Realme UI 1.0 update to Realme 5 and Realme 5s smartphones in India. This comes after both the smartphones recently received May Android security patch with some general bugs fixes and improved system stability.
The Android 10 update comes with version number RMX1925EX_11_C.39 for Realme 5 and Realme 5swhile the Realme 5i update comes with the version number RMX2030EX_11.C.45. It brings in several new features such as Focus Mode, optimized three-finger screenshot, and a revamped camera UI. You can check the availability of the Realme UI update on your devices by going to the Settings menu.
As per the official community forum, the update is now being rolled out in a staged manner. It will be randomly pushed to a limited number of users and will have a broader rollout in the coming days after making sure there are no critical bugs. If no critical bugs are found, the full rollout will be completed in the upcoming days.
The update comes with the Smart Sidebar and includes features such as Assistive Ball Opacity and Hide Assistive Ball on Fullscreen App. The update brings an updated Realme Share feature, new live wallpapers, a dynamic Weather ringtone, a Simple Mode and various camera-focussed optimisations. It adds 3-Finger Screenshot Gesture support that lets users capture a screenshot of the selected part of the screen using three fingers on the screen. Additionally, the update brings new Navigation Gestures, Focus Mode, new charging animation, pause option for screen recording, and TalkBack floating prompts.
