Realme 2 Pro receives a price cut again

Earlier this year, Realme 2 Pro received a price cut of Rs 1,000.

Realme 2 Pro has reportedly received a price cut again. The smartphone was launched in India last year in three variants – Rs 13,990 for the 4GB + 64GB variant, Rs 15,990 for 6GB + 64GB option and Rs 17,990 for 8GB + 128GB model.

Earlier this year, Realme 2 Pro received a price cut of Rs 1,000. Now, the company has announced yet another price cut of Rs 500. With this, the base variant will now retail for Rs 11,990, 6GB variant will now be priced at Rs 13,990 while the top variant with 8GB of RAM is now priced at Rs 15,990. However, the new pricing is yet to reflect on Flipkart.

Realme 2 Pro will soon receive the Android Pie update as the phone was recently spotted on GeekBench website with the latest version of Android. The phone currently runs on Android 8.1 Oreo with company’s ColorOS 5.2 running on top of it.

To recall, Realme 2 Pro features a 6.3-inch Full display with a screen resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels and 19:9 aspect ratio. There is a dual rear camera setup with primary sensor sporting 16-megapixel Sony IMX398 sensor, f/1.7 and 6P lens, while the secondary sensor is used to create a bokeh effect. For the front, there is a 16-megapixel shooter with f/2.0 aperture and beauty mode.

The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 with Adreno 512 coupled with 4GB/6GB/8GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB storage. The memory can be further expanded up to 256GB via micro card slot. It is backed by a 3500mAh battery with no fast charging.
