Realme 2 Pro price slashed by Rs 1,000

Realme 2 Pro will soon receive the Android Pie update.

Realme has slashed the price of Realme 2 Pro by Rs 1,000. The smartphone was launched in India last year in three variants – Rs 13,990 for the 4GB + 64GB variant, Rs 15,990 for 6GB + 64GB option and Rs 17,990 for 8GB + 128GB model.

Now after the price cut, Realme 2 Pro 4GB variant comes for Rs 12,990, the 6GB variant is priced at Rs 14,990 while the 8GB variant will now cost you Rs 14,990 on Flipkart. However, the top-end variant with 8GB is currently Out of stock on Flipkart.

Realme 2 Pro will soon receive the Android Pie update as the phone was recently spotted on GeekBench website with the latest version of Android. The phone currently runs on Android 8.1 Oreo with company’s ColorOS 5.2 running on top of it.

To recall, Realme 2 Pro features a 6.3-inch Full display with a screen resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels and 19:9 aspect ratio. The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor with Adreno 512 coupled with 4GB/6GB/8GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB storage. The memory can be further expanded up to 256GB via micro card slot.

Realme 2 Pro is backed by a 3500mAh battery with no fast charging. There is a dual rear camera setup with primary sensor sporting 16-megapixel Sony IMX398 sensor, f/1.7 and 6P lens, while the secondary sensor is used to create a bokeh effect. For the front, there is a 16-megapixel shooter with f/2.0 aperture and beauty mode.
