This new feature in the RailYatri train app, Fog Alerts, allows travelers to plan and book their train journeys after ensuring that their selected train has the minimum probability of getting affected by fog.
In an attempt to help travelers inform about any delays, RailYatri.in has today launched a new Fog Alert feature. Going by the stats, RailYatri claims that more than 90 trains were delayed last week between Delhi and Patna due to fog and with this new Fog Alert feature, travelers would now be warned for the possibility of a delay at certain railway stations.
Further, RaillYatri further justified the launch of this new feature by claiming that it will help thousands of people who would be traveling to Patna to celebrate 350th Birthday of 10th Sikh Guru, Guru Gobind Singh.
Train delays due to fog can range from few minutes to several hours, wasting both energy and time of travelers. Further, more than 80% of trains traveling to Patna from different parts of India cross several fog prone stations which result in delay. However, the new Fog Alert feature informs passengers, traveling via particular train, about the probability of fog, its severity and its possible impact on the schedule which will then help both passengers on board and on the platform to plan their travel accordingly.
This new feature in the RailYatri train app, Fog Alerts, allows travelers to plan and book their train journeys after ensuring that their selected train has the minimum probability of getting affected by fog. "RailYatri.in understands how important it is for travelers (and their friends and family) to be updated about the possible delay of his train due to the dense fog." -says Manish Rathi, Co-founder and CEO, RailYatri.in.
