Pricing of Xiaomi Mi 6 & Mi 6 Plus leaked ahead of launch

The Mi 6 is expected to be powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor along with Adreno 540 GPU.

Post little confusion relating to the launch date, the company has now confirmed thatXiaomi Mi 6 will be launching this month on April 19. Along with the Xiaomi Mi 6, the Chinese handset manufacturer is also likely to introduce Mi 6 Plus. Also, just ahead of the launch, the pricing of Xiaomi Mi 6 & Mi 6 Plus has been leaked with 2,199 Yuan (approximately Rs 20,630) for Mi 6 while the pricing of Xiaomi Mi 6 Plus will start at 2,699 (approximately Rs 25,317).

As per the leak, the Xiaomi Mi 6 will come in two memory variants – 4GB with 64GB internal storage and 4GB RAM with 128GB internal storage. The 64GB variant is listed with a price tag of 2,199 Yuan (approximately Rs 20,627) while the 128GB variant carries a price tag of 2,599 Yuan (approximately Rs 24,379).

The Xiaomi Mi 6 Plus, on the other hand, is listed in three variants. All the variants come with 6GB RAM with 64GB, 128GB and 256GM internal storage. The 6GB with 64GB variant is listed at 2,699 Yuan which is approximately Rs 25,317, 6GB with 128GB variant is listed at 3,099 Yuan which is approximately Rs 29,069 while 6GB with 256GB variant carries a price tag of 3,699 Yuan which is approximately Rs 34,697.

The earlier rumours hint that the Xiaomi Mi 6 is likely to come with a 5.2-inch display with Full resolution in one variant and Quad HD resolution in other. The device is likely to be powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 along with Adreno 540 GPU.

On the other hand, the Mi 6 Plus will come with a 5.7-inch screen with the same underneath. The younger sibling i.e. the regular Mi 6 will come with 4GB/6G RAM options and 32GB/64GB/128GB of 2.0 storage options. The Plus variant, on the other hand, will come only with 6GB RAM option along with 64GB and 128GB storage options.

For the camera, the Mi 6 will sport a dual-camera set up at the back having a dual 12-megapixel Sony’s IMX 386 sensor while at the front, the device will sport an 8-megapixel Sony’s IMX 268 sensor. Both the devices are likely to be powered by Nougat with 3200 battery on the Mi 6 and 4500 mAh battery on the Mi 6 Plus.
