Philips X596 launched with 16MP camera and 4000 mAh battery

It runs on Android 7.1 Nougat operating system and is backed up by a huge 4000 mAh non-removable battery.

Philips has launched its new smartphone in China named as Philips X596. The smartphone comes in two variants – 4GB RAM with 32GB internal storage priced at 1,299 Yuan which is approximately Rs 12,703 and the 4GB RAM with 64GB internal storage costs you 1,499 Yuan which is approximately Rs 14,661. It is currently available for pre-order on JD.com and will start shipping from November 5.

The Philips X596 features a 5.5-inch full (1920 x 1080 pixels) display. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 octa-core processor clocked at 1.4GHz. The smartphone comes with 4GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB of internal storage capacity, and option to expand the storage up to 128GB via MicroSD card. It runs on 7.1 Nougat operating system and is backed up by a huge 4000 non-removable battery supporting 9V/2A fast charging. The device measures 156.4 × 77.4 × 8.35 mm and it weighs 177.8 grams.

On the camera front, the Philips X596 has 16-megapixel primary camera with LED flash, and a same 16-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video chats. It also houses a fingerprint scanner on its back. Besides, the smartphone offers Dual-SIM, LTE, Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n), Bluetooth, GPS/AGPS/GLONASS and support.
