Paytm Mall has announced to offer 12-months ‘Mobile Protection Plan’ for smartphonebuyers to safeguard their devices. The plan will cover against accidental damage including screen damage, liquid damage and theft to protect their newly purchased device.
The Paytm Mall offer is applicable to almost all mobile brands includingApple, Motorola, Vivo, Oppo and others. The Mobile Protection Plan available at a nominal cost of approx 5 percent of the smartphone price. Likewise, the Apple iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plusget the coverage for Rs 3,499 and Rs 3,899 respectively. However, budgets devices like Lenovo K8 and Moto C Plus are protected for Rs 599 and Rs 399.

Other than this, the plan is valid for Paytm users who are above 18 years of age, at the time of purchase. Further, to claim the MobileProtect Plan, the customer will have to reach out to the company’s toll-free number (1-800-258-5956).The device is promised to be picked from the residence, or the consumer will be directed to the nearest repair store. And if the device is beyond repair, one will get reimbursed for what the device is currently worth.
