Paytm Mall has announced that it is now an authorized Apple reseller for the Indian market. The e-commerce player will now sell authorized Apple products on its store.
With the partnership, all the Apple products, which are listed on Paytm Mall will come with an authorized tag. For the unintended, Apple only sell it’s products through its authorized reseller in the country. The company has roped quite a few players like Amazon and Flipkart along with offline retailers. The authorized tag simply means that users will get genuine products from Paytm Mall. This also means that users will be entitled for Apple Standard Warranty for the products they buy on the e-commerce platform.
Furthermore, only authorized seller will be allowed to sell Apple products including iPhones, iPads and more on Paytm Mall. Other products will be available soon. Any independent seller who wants to sell Apple products on Paytm Mall will first have to get permission from Apple.

Meanwhile, the company is under a forensic audit after a potential scam from its employees which could have resulted in a huge loss for Paytm Mall. The audit is conducted by Ernst & Young who found that there were lapses and that some employees of the organisation could be involved in a scam.
