Panasonic P99 with Android Nougat, 5MP selfie camera launched in India for Rs 7,490

Panasonic has today added a new member to its P series with the launch of the P99 smartphone in India. The device comes with a price tag of Rs 7490 and is available at all authorised Panasonic stores and retail outlets across the country.

The smartphone comes loaded with a 5.0-inch IPS display with a screen resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. The device is powered by a 1.25GHz quad-core processor coupled with 2GB of RAM. The phone is backed by a 16GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 128 via card.

On the imaging front, the P99 sports an 8-megapixel rear camera with flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. The smartphone is available in three colour options including Champagne, Gold and Blue.

The device runs on 7.0 Nougat and is juiced up by a 2000mAh lithium polymer battery. On the connectivity front, Panasonic P99 offers VoLTE, Bluetooth, GPS, A-GPS, FM Radio, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, and port. The phone measures 144.6 x 71.8 x 8.6 mm and weighs 145 grams.

Previously, the brand announced the launch of its latest budget smartphone known as Eluga I4. Priced at Rs 8290, the smartphone is available at all Panasonic authorized outlets across the country and it comes in Blue, Black and Gold colour options.
