For the audience who use their smartphone for productive tasks, Panasonic India Pvt. Ltd. yesterday launched the P88 camera phone at Rs 9,290. The smartphone will be available in two colours - Charcoal Grey and Gold, across all the retail outlets in the country.
Expanding its P series, the P88 comes with a 5.3 inch HD (720p) IPS display covered by a 2.5D Curved Asahi Enhanced Glass to prevent it against scratches and offer best possible viewing angle. Coming with a metal-finish body, the P88 looks extremely premium and comes at just 8.3mm thickness and weighs at 156 grams. Inside, the device is powered by a 1.25GH Quad-Core processor coupled with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage which is expandable up to 128GB via microSD card. The device runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and comes pre-loaded with the 'Android Work' feature which basically separates your business apps from personal apps and let you share the information accordingly making work on smartphone safe and secure.
For the camera, there is a 13-megapixel rear camera with triple LED flash paired with a 5-megapixel front facing shooter.
The Panasonic P88 gets its juice from a 2600 mAh removable battery and has Dual SIM (Non-Hybrid) 4G - VoLTE/3G/2G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.0, GPS with A-GPS etc. for connectivity.
