Panasonic launches a very tough tablet in India

Panasonic Toughpad FZ-A1 is a durable tablet which runs Android 4.0 ICS and sports a 10.1-inch display but is priced steeply at Rs 75,000.

Panasonic has launched this tough and durable tablet in India for a staggering Rs 75,000. The Panasonic Toughpad FZ-A1 is a durable tablet which runs 4.0 ICS and sports a 10.1-inch XGA resolution display with anti-glare. The device is powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core Marvell and is IP65 certified for protection against dust and water. It can withstand a fall from a height of 4 feet.

The tablet has a mono microphone, mono waterproof speakers, digitiser pen and it is equipped with enhanced security features with dedicated security core that is FIPS 140-2 Level 2 compliant.

This rugged tablet will be available across India and for its additional ruggedness one will have to pay a premium price of Rs 75,000. It also has 5 megapixel camera with flash, 2 megapixel front-facing camera. The tablet comes with 1 DDR 2 RAM, 16 GB Internal memory, expandable memory up to 32 GB with micro SD. In terms of connectivity you will get (HSPA+ 21 Mbps), WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n, v2.1, Satellite GPS, micro HDMI. The 33.9Wh battery powers the device with up to 10 hours of battery life.
