Oppo has today launched its Reno series at an event in China. The company has launched the standard variant and the 10x loss less zoom variant of the Oppo Reno.
The Oppo Reno Standard Edition is priced at 2999 yuan for the 6GB RAM with 128GB storage variant, 3299 yuan for the 6GB RAM with 256GB storage variant and the 8GB RAM with 256GB storage variant is priced at 3599 yuan. It is now available for order in China and goes on sale from April 16. The smartphone comes in Green, Pink, Purple and Black colours.
The Oppo Reno 10X zoom edition is priced at 3999 yuan for the 6GB RAM with 128GB storage version, 4499 yuan for the 6GB RAM with 256GB storage version and the 8GB RAM with 256GB storage version is priced at 4799 yuan. It will go on sale mid-May and it comes in Green and Black colours. The company will also introduce a 5G version next month.
Oppo Reno Standard Edition
The Oppo Reno Standard Edition features a 6.4-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with 2340 × 1080 pixels resolution, 19:5:9 aspect ratio, 430 nits brightness, 97% NTSC colour gamut, Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection. It is powered by octa-core Snapdragon 710 10nm Mobile Platform (Dual 2.2GHz Kryo 360 + Hexa 1.7GHz Kryo 360 CPUs) with Adreno 616 GPU.
The dual sim phone runs on Android 9.0 (Pie) with ColorOS 6.0 and has a 3,765mAh battery with VOOC 3.0 fast charging. For the camera, the phone has dual rear camera module featuring 48-megapixel with LED flash, 1/2.25″ Sony IMX586 sensor, 0.8um pixel size, f/1.7 aperture and 5-megapixel with f/2.4 aperture. It also features an LED enabled 16-megapixel pop-up selfie camera with LED flash, f/2.0 aperture.
The phone also features In-display fingerprint sensor. Connectivity features include Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS/GLONASS, NFC, USB Type-C, Dolby Atmos support, Game Boost 2.0 and 3.5 mm audio jack. The device measures 156.6 x 74.3 x 9mm and it weighs 185 grams.
Oppo Reno 10x Hybrid Optical Zoom Edition
The Oppo Reno 10x Hybrid Optical Zoom Edition features a 6.6-inch Full HD+ 19:5:9 aspect ratio AMOLED display with 2340 × 1080 pixels resolution, 100% NTSC colour gamut, Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection. It is powered by octa-core Snapdragon 855 7nm Mobile Platform (1 x 2.84GHz Kryo 485 + 3 x 2.42GHz Kryo 485 + 4x 1.80GHz Kryo 485) with Adreno 640 GPU.
The phone has a triple rear camera setup of 48MP rear camera with LED flash, 1/2.25″ Sony IMX586 sensor, f/1.7 aperture, 0.8um pixel size, OIS, Laser AF, PDAF, CAF, 13MP periscope telephoto lens, f/3.0 aperture and a 8MP 120° Ultra Wide Lens with f/2.2 aperture, 10x Hybrid Optical Zoom. For the front, the phone has a 16MP camera with LED flash placed on a wedge-shaped pop-up camera, which the company calls Shark Fin pop-up module.
It runs on Android 9.0 (Pie) with ColorOS 6.0 and is backed up by 4,065mAh battery with VOOC 3.0 fast charging support. For heat dissipation, the phone features a copper tub liquid cooling heat sink. The screen is also home to an optical in-display fingerprint sensor
The phone has connectivity features like Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou, USB Type-C, NFC, Game Boost 2.0, and 3.5mm audio jack. It also equipped with Dolby Atmos for audiophiles. It measures 162 x 77.2 x 9.3mm and it weighs 210 grams.
