Oppo is all set to launch its Reno 2 series in India on August 28. The phone is also confirmed to launch in China on September 10. Now a series of video teasers have been posted on Oppo’s official Weibo page teasing the upcoming launch. Apart from that, the Oppo Reno 2 has also been spotted on Antutu Benchmarking website.
The video teasers confirm that the Reno 2 will be made available in Deep Sea Glow, Ocean Heart and Misty Powder colour options in China. In India, the smartphone will be coming in two colors – Ocean Blue and Luminous Black. Another teaser suggests that the noise canceling headphones will be unveiled alongside the Oppo Reno 2 phone. The company has also posted official images of the phone.
On the Antutu listing, the Reno 2 (model number PCKM00) comes with a display that produces full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels but the screen size is not known. The phone will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 730G SoC with Adreno 618 GPU. For the software, it will run on Android 9 Pie operating system.
Further, the listing reveals that the phone will come with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The listing has no information about its battery size and camera resolution. Additionally, the AnTuTu listing reveals the benchmark score of 259109 points of the Oppo Reno 2.
A couple of real-life images of the Reno 2 have also surfaced online via Twitter tipster MadSimar. The images only show the glassy back panel of the device. There is a vertically aligned quad camera setup in the upper half of the rear panel of the phone along with its dual-tone dual LED flash. In another tweet, he has also revealed the renders of the phone revealing the three colours.
Recently, thecompany officially revealed the key specifications of Oppo Reno 2. The Oppo Reno 2 will have 6.55-inches AMOLED Panoramic screen with 20:9 aspect ratio, 93.1% Screen to Body Ratio. The phone will also feature an in-display G3 optical sensor fingerprint unlocking technology.
Under the hood, the device will be powered by the Snapdragon 730G octa-core processor. The smartphone will have 8GB RAM along with 256GB storage and will be backed up by a 4000mAh battery having VOOC Flash Charge 3.0 support with Type-C charging cable. Further, Reno 2 smartphone will also have a Frame Boost 2.0, Touch Boost 2.0, and Link Boost.
Oppo Reno 2 will sport quad-camera setup with 48MP as the primary sensor, a 13MP telephoto sensor with 2x optical zoom, 8MP ultrawide sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. Moreover, it will have a 16MP Shark Fin rising camera on the front for selfies.
