Oppo R17 with 6.4-inch Full HD+ display spotted on company’s official website

The new Oppo R17 will come with a glass body and it will feature Twilight colour, which we saw in multiple Huawei and Honor smartphones including the latest Huawei Nova 3 and Honor 10. The phone will be available in Blue and Purple colour options.

Oppo is all set to launch its latest flagship devices, the Oppo R17 and R17 Pro, in China on August 18. Now, ahead of official launch, the Oppo R17 has been found listed on company’s official website leaving little to the imagination.

To begin with, the new Oppo R17 will come with a glass body and it will feature Twilight colour, which we saw in multiple Huawei and Honor smartphones including the latest Huawei Nova 3 and Honor 10. The phone will be available in Blue and Purple colour options.

Jumping straight to the specifications, the Oppo R17 features a 6.4-inch Full HD+ display with an aspect ratio of 19:9 and a 91.5 percent screen-to-body ratio. The phone is powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 670 processor along with Adreno 615 GPU.

For memory, you get an 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage with an option to expand the memory. For optics, the phone is loaded with a dual-camera setup with primary sensor sporting a 16-megapixel sensor and a secondary sensor of unknown resolution. For the front, the phone equips a 25-megapixel camera with AI capabilities.

The Oppo R17 runs on ColorOS 5.0, which is based on Android Oreo. It features a 3500mAh battery with a VOOC Flash charge for fast charging. There is an in-display fingerprint sensor as well. For connectivity, the phone employs dual 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5, WiFi, NFC, GPS, GLONASS, dual SIM and USB Type-C port.
