Oppo R17 Pro and Oppo A7 (4GB variant) smartphones which were launched last year have got a price cut. This is the second time in last one year when the devices have seen a price correction.
The Oppo R17 Pro smartphone bearing triple rear camera setup was launched in India at Rs 45,990 and had got Rs 6000 price cut earlier this year. Now according to the Mumbai based offline retailer, the smartphone has got another huge price cut of Rs 10,000 and now retailing at Rs 29,990. While Oppo A7 was launchedat a price tag of Rs 16,990 and got Rs 1,000 price cut in April this year. Now the smartphone has got another Rs 2000 price cut and can be bought at the revised price of Rs 13,990. The update was shared byMumbai based offline retailer, Mahesh Telecom.
The Oppo R17 Pro has a 6.4-inch AMOLED on-cell full-HD+ display with waterdrop notch design and has a resolution of 1080×2340 pixels with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The phone is protected by sixth generation Corning Gorilla Glass and comes powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 710 (Dual 2.2GHz Kryo 360 + Hexa 1.7GHz Kryo 360) processor with Adreno 616 GPU.
It has 8GB of RAM with 128GB Internal Memory and does not have microSD card slot for expanding storage. For the optics, the Oppo R17 Pro sports a triple rear camera setup with a combination of a 12-megapixel as primary sensor with variable Aperture (f/1.5-2.4) and OIS, a 20-megapixel secondary sensor with f/2.6 aperture, and a Time of Flight (TOF) 3D sensing camera for capturing 3D photos. On the front camera, it carries a 25-megapixel selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture, AI, Sony IMX576 sensor, 3D Portrait.
The R17 Pro runs on Android 8.1 Oreo based on ColorOS 5.1 and also features an in-display fingerprint sensor. The smartphone gets its juices 3700mAh battery with Super VOOC Flash Charge technology. Connectivity features include Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS, USB 3.1 Type-C and NFC. It phone measures 157.6 × 74.6 × 7.9mm and weighs 183 grams.
On the other hand, Oppo A7 has a 6.2-inch HD+ IPS LCD waterdrop display with a resolution of 1520 x 720 pixels and comes powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 processor with Adreno 506 GPU. The smartphone sports a dual rear camera setup with a 13-megapixel primary sensor with LED flash, f/2.2 aperture and 2-megapixel secondary sensor with f/2.4 aperture. At the front, it has 16-megapixel selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture. This Dual-SIM Oppo A7 phone runs on Android 8.1 Oreo based on ColorOS 5.2 and is backed up by a 4,230mAh battery. It also features a fingerprint sensor at the back.Connectivity options are Dual 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n GPS + GLONASS, Micro-USB with OTG support and a 3.5mm Headphone jack.
