Opera gets updated for Android

Opera browser for Android upgrades to 11.1; brings a host of new features and tweaks.

Opera mobile browser for Android devices has just been updated and with this new update the developer of this browser has added more on the functionality front rather than just improving the look and feel of the web browser.

The new update upgrades the present Opera 11 mobile web browser to V11.1, which brings a highly optimised and brand new interface. A pinch to zoom feature and smoother panning capability has also been introduced with this update. Opera has now also included native social media integration with popular websites like Facebook and Twitter so users don’t need to login to websites or applications to post comments or content on social media.

Another addition to the kitty is the inclusion of an Opera Link feature that allows users to synchronize bookmarks and web browsing data among Opera browsers on different devices or platforms as well. Opera has also added the provision to download games and free apps from the Opera Mobile Store in Opera Mobile’s Speed Dial.

Users can update the application manually or through the Android marketplace application as well. They can alternatively visit the following link if they are first time users.
