OnePlus 7 tipped to launch in May

OnePlus is also working on OnePlus 7 Pro which is also expected to launch soon.

OnePlus is yet to announce any official details about its upcoming flagship, OnePlus 7 which has been subjected to several leaks and rumours lately. Now as per reports, OnePlus 7 will launch in May.

The leak comes from tipster Ishan Agarwal on Twitter which suggests that the OnePlus 7 will launch next month. OnePlus generally launches its smartphones in India immediately after the global launch. If this also comes true this year, then OnePlus 7 will be launching in India in May itself.

The tweet also mentioned that OnePlus is also working on OnePlus 7 Pro which is also expected to launch soon. Looks like the company is planning to promote the Pro version of OnePlus 7 with the tagline “Go Beyond Speed”. But that is not confirmed yet.

The tweet reads ”I’m pretty sure you all will soon see OP7 leaks flooding on your timelines since I can confirm that the launch is in May. It seems like the name of the more expensive smartphone is indeed gonna be OnePlus 7 Pro and tagline will be “Go Beyond Speed”. Although, it may change.”

OnePlus 7 Pro leaked today revealing its key specifications. The leak revealed that the OnePlus 7 Pro features a 48-megapixel primary lens coupled with a 16-megapixel secondary shooter and an 8-megapixel sensor. The phone runs on 9.0 Pie and it features a 6.71-inch Super Optic display, which could bear a Full resolution. The smartphone is powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor. It will be backed by an 8GB of and 256GB of internal storage.

As per a recent case renders leak, the OnePlus 7 will feature pop-up selfie camera on the left of the top and it will feature a notch-less display. The smartphone will include triple cameras on the back panel which will be coupled with a LED flash. Similar to the OnePlus 6T, the upcoming OnePlus 7 will also not come equipped with a 3.5mm jack. It is expected that the OnePlus 7 will also come with an in-display fingerprint scanner.
