OnePlus 7 Pro recently received an update with camera improvements. Now OnePlus 7 has also received a new software update that brings improved camera capabilities along with general bug fixes and other improvements.
The new update brings the version number of OxygenOS to Oxygen OS 9.5.5.GM57AA and it is 125MB in size. The official changelog reveals that OnePlus has improved the overall contrast and color performance and accuracy and stability of auto focusing.
The update also improves the clarity and color of Nightscape and brightness and clarity in extreme low light scene of Nightscape. Apart from this, OnePlus 7 gets the May 2019 Android Security Patch with this update.
As usual, the OTA will have a staged rollout and it will reach a limited number of users first. The broader rollout will begin in a few days, after making sure there are no critical bugs.
Previously, OnePlus rolled out the Oxygen OS 9.5.4.GM57AA update to OnePlus 7. The update brings in DC Dimming which enables the phone’s screen to not flicker at low brightness settings. It also brings the Fnatic Mode as well as some optimizations for the fingerprint unlock and the camera performance of the smartphone.
The OnePlus 7 is priced at Rs 32,999 for 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant, while the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage is priced at Rs 37,999. The device is equipped with a 6.4-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED Display with a screen resolution of 2280 x 1080 pixels. It is backed by a 3500mAh battery with Fast charging and it runs on Android 9.0 Pie. The phone has an in-display fingerprint sensor.
In terms of optics, the phone is backed by a dual-camera setup with a combination of 48-megapixel primary lens and a 5-megapixel secondary shooter. For selfies, it is equipped with a 16-megapixel shooter. The device is powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Processor along with Adreno 640 GPU. It measures 157.7 x 74.8 x 8.2mm and it weigh 182 grams.
