OnePlus 6T Thunder Purple colour option leaked in press renders

OnePlus has a long history of introducing different paint jobs for its flagship devices. The brand introduced Silk White and Red colour options for the OnePlus 6. It then introduced OnePlus 6 Marvel Avengers Limited Edition as well. For OnePlus 5T, the company introduced Lava Red colour option and OnePlus 5T Star Wars Edition.

OnePlus recently announced its latest flagship smartphone, the OnePlus 6T, in India at a starting price of Rs 37,999. Now, the company is reportedly planning to launch a new colour option of the latest flagship device.

As per a report by Mr Gizmo, the company is prepping to introduce a new Thunder Purple colour option for its recently-launched OnePlus 6T. The official-looking press renders of the 6T reveals that the phone will come with a gradient finish, which is similar to what we have seen in different Oppo and Vivo smartphones.

To recall, the smartphone comes in three variants – 6GB + 128GB storage option for RS 37,999, 8GB + 128GB for RS 41,999 and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage priced at Rs 45,999 respectively. It comes loaded with a 6.4-inch Optic with 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution, 19.5:9 aspect ratio and 6 protection. There will be five colour settings including sRGB, DCI-P3, adaptive colours and more.

The smartphone is powered by the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 coupled with Adreno 630 GPU. The phone will be available in different memory configurations: 6GB LPDDR4X RAM with 128GB 2.1 storage and 8GB LPDDRX with 256GB UFS 2.1 storage options.
