Nubia Red Magic gaming smartphone to launch in India after Diwali

ZTE’s sub-brand Nubia will reportedly launch its Red Magic gaming smartphone in India next month.

As per a report of Gadget360, the Nubia Red Magic will hit the India shores after the Diwali season early next month. The report further reveals that the smartphone will be launched under the Rs 30,000 in India.

With this, Nubia is all set to challenge the likes of other popular smartphone players like Xiaomi, Asus and OnePlu s, which offers flagship processor, though none of them has introduced a dedicated gaming smartphone for the Indian market. Xiaomi recently launched the Black Shark Helo gaming phone in China.

The Nubia Red Magic was launched in April this year. The company these days has been busy teasing the upcoming Red Magic 2 in China which is expected to launch on October 31.

The major highlight of this gaming smartphone is rugged design and the strip at the back panel, which gives a pure gaming-centric device look. The strip can support up to 16 million colours and one can change the lighting effects according to one’s need. There are four cooling ports on the back along with extra three layers of graphite to keep the phone cool while gaming.

The Nubia Red Magic gaming smartphone features a 5.99-inch Full display with a screen resolution 2160 x 1080 pixels and 18:9 aspect ratio. The display is protected by the Dinorex T2X-1 scratch/shock resistant glass. It is powered by an older Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 coupled with 8GB of and 128GB of internal storage.

For the camera, the device phone features a 24-megapixel Samsung 5K2X7SX primary lens with a f/1.7 aperture. On the front, the handset sports an 8-megapixel selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture, 1.12-micron size. The phone runs on Oreo and it is backed by a 3,800mAh battery with support for NeoPower 3.0 and Nubia technology.

Connectivity features include VoLTE, dual-band 2X2 MIMO Wi-Fi 802.11ac, USB Type-C port, GPS, GLONASS, v5.0, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The phone measures 158.1x 74.9 x 9.5mm and weighs 185 grams.
