The latest gaming smartphone from Xiaomi comes loaded with two liquid cooling pipes to cool the phone during gaming and it can reduce CPU’s core temperature up to 12-degree, which is better as compared to its predecessor.
Xiaomi’s sub-brand Black Shark has introduced its second gaming smartphone in China. Dubbed as Black Shark Helo Gaming Phone, the smartphone comes with a price tag of 3199 yuan (approx. Rs 33,900) for the 6GB + 128GB variant, 3499 Yuan (approx Rs 37,000) for 8GB + 128GB option, and the top-end 10GB + 256GB model is priced at 4199 Yuan (approx Rs 44,000). It will go on sale from October 30, 2018.

The back panel comes loaded with a glowing RGB logo and LED strips at the side. It has dedicated two-stage SHARK key that provides immersive gaming experience. The 6GB and 8GB models come with a single analogue stick known as Black Shark Biplane Handle, while the top-end variant comes with two analogue sticks. The phone comes loaded with X+1 antenna design for better connectivity and front stereo speakers.
Jumping straight to the specifications, the Black Shark Helo Gaming Phone features a 6.01-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a screen resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels. The phone is powered by a 2.8GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor along with Adreno 630 GPU.

The gaming smartphone is backed by a 6GB/8GB of RAM with 128GB of internal storage. There is a top-end variant that is equipped with 10GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. On the camera front, it is equipped with a dual-camera setup with a configuration of a 12-megapixel rear camera with f/1.75 aperture, 1.25-micron pixel size along with a 20-megapixel secondary shooter with f/1.75 aperture and 1.0-micron pixel size. For the front, there is a 20-megapixel selfie camera with f/2.2 aperture.
The phone runs on Android 8.1 Oreo with Joy UI running on top of it. It is backed by a 4000mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 fast charging support. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, AGPS, GLONASS, NFC and USB Type-C port. The phone measures 160 x 75.25 x 8.7mm and weighs 190 grams.
