Nubia yesterday launched a Nubia M2 series smartphone which is dubbed as Nubia M2 Play in India priced Rs 8,999. The smartphone will be available for purchase exclusively on Amazon India starting September 8 12 PM onwards. The company has confirmed the availability via its official twitter handle. To recall, the device was first launched in China earlier in June this year. Nubia M2 Play is armed with a 5.5-inch HD 2.5D display with 1280 x 720 pixel resolution. It is powered by Snapdragon 435 1.4GHz octa-core processor, Adreno 505 GPU and 3GB RAM. There is 32GB of internal storage in the phone apart from which it has an expandable storage slot that can hold a micro SD card of up to 128GB capacity. The smartphone runs on Android 7.0 Nougat operating system with Nubia UI 5.0 and comes fitted with a 3000 mAh non-removable battery. A fingerprint sensor is integrated into the physical home button on the front of the device.
The Nubia M2 Play has a rear camera of 13-megapixels with LED Flash, Sony CMOS sensor, Hybrid focus (PDAF + CAF), f/2.2 aperture. At the front, there is a 5-megapixel sensor for selfies with f/2.4 Aperture and 84-degree wide angle. Besides, the smartphone offers Hybrid Dual SIM, 4G LTE with VoLTE support, micro USB port, WiFi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 4.1 LE, GPS/GLONASS support and 3.5mm audio jack.
