Notion Ink today announced the launch of Cain 8 tablet. This Intel Atom Processor based tablet runs on Windows 8.1 operating system and is priced at Rs 9,990. It is exclusively available on Snapdeal.com.
Speaking about the device, Manish Giri, chief operating officer, Notion Ink said: “Cain 8 is a companion device to the PCs. 8 inch form factor makes Cain the ideal device extending PC functionalities. We look at targeting professionals needing access to full Outlook on the go, UniCode support to process all languages, flawless 8 hours of video performance and in-built 3G for this product.”
The tablet has an 8 inch IPS display with 1280×800 resolution and 5 point touch input. It has a 4000 mAh Li-Po battery that claims to offer 8 hours of Outlook, 10 hours of reading with UniCode support, 6 hours of video and around 22 hours of audio. The device packs a powerful Intel Atom Z3735F processor and runs on the latest Windows 8.1 operating system.
The Cain 8 has 1GB DDR3L RAM, 16 GB internal storage, and has an expandable storage slot for up to 64 GB micro SD card. It comes preloaded with a one year subscription of Microsoft Office 365.
More information about the tablet is still awaited. Notion had earlier launched the Cain 2 in 1 which has a 10 inch screen, 2 DB RAM, Windows 8.1 OS, Intel Atom processor, 2 MP camera both in the front and rear, and 32 GB internal storage.
