Nokia’s handsfree kits especially the ones that are designed for music are known for their audio quality. Taking it a step further, Nokia has announced the launch of its latest music hands free kit – the Essence.
Nokia Essence essentially is a Bluetooth based wireless hands free kit designed for music fanatics but also offers active noise cancellation along with the music or the audio while talking.
Nokia claims it to be their best in-ear headset to date, featuring up to 99 per cent noise cancellation in the lightest, smallest package available.
Noise-cancelling headsets contain microphones that listen to the sounds around you, and then create an opposite sound which is blended in with your music. This “reverse-noise” is intended to cancel out the noise that the users listen resulting in a sound that is free from noise.
The headset is designed to work with any Bluetooth enabled phone featuring A2DP, but is especially useful with Nokia’s latest near field communications enabled smartphones since it also features NFC to pair with a tap of your phone on the controller.
For easy operation and control, the Nokia Essence features call handling and offers buttons for both that and for shuffling through the music. For music lovers, the Essence has dedicated Bass and treble control keys allowing them to tweak the quality of the music as per need.
No details on price and availability of the device have been made available. Considering the features and the technology, this Bluetooth handsfree kit is expected to be on the slightly higher side and is expected to reach different markets by the end of this year along with the other Symbian Belle smartphones that have been launched by Nokia recently.
